New Missions - Coming Soon!

I've updated the upcoming missions & images - we have two!
The first will be 'Fallout' - a free posting period running from now until the end of September. In game time this period will cover several months whilst scans and surveys are conducted to ensure that there is no sentient life on the planet before exploration begins.
The Fae have returned to their own dimension taking Isha's daughter Eviess with them in order to keep her alive. There are repairs to be made, detailed scans of the new solar system to be conducted and analysed, and Isha must justify her actions in confronting the Fae.
A lot of alien powers seem to be taking an interest in the new system, maybe hoping to annex its resources for themselves - but we won't let them have it! Plans are made for a diplomatic summit to address the issue.
Once I'm back from getting married etc then will follow 'A Whole New World' - The Fae are returned to their own dimension, but the solar system that has been trapped in subspace limbo for millenia remains.
The crew of Deep Space Five investigate the ruins of the ancient Fae and in them un-earth a more sinister threat.
Over the months since the Fae departed repairs have been made, detailed scans of the new solar system have been conducted and analysed.
An away team goes down to the surface of the planet to explore the ruins and take samples . . . might want to bring some bug spray!
At the same time, a lot of alien powers seem to be taking an interest in the new system, maybe hoping to annex its resources for themselves - but we won't let them have it! Diplomatic negotiations begin in earnest to re-establish the role of DS5 in the sector now that this important development has happened.
As you can see a Chief Diplomatic Officer will be key, as will some alien land grabbers sticking their collective oars in. I'm recruiting for these roles, but in case we don't turn any up do let me, Bert or Notty know if you could provide an NPC for this side of the plot.
We have removed the Marines as a playing department. There are a couple of NPCs in the manifest that anyone can use if they need marines. If we ever receive an acceptable application for the MCO position we will make it available, but until then if you need the MCO and his deputy feel free to write them as you wish, just keep the names. If you need further marines please make up your own NPCs.
